shift light installation? help! please!
I recently bought and installed a proform shift light. Coming from the light I ran the green wire to the blue wire (tach signal wire on eg's) and for the power i just hooked it up to my 15 amp radio fuse and then grounded it and set it to 8100 rpm's. Although pretty often when im driving the light starts to flicker and i don't know why..the light does work when i reach 8100 rpm's... i just cant figure out why it flickers????
I have heard a lot of people having this problem with the proform light. People say it flickers every now and then at idle, I would make sure all your connections are good and your ground is good.

Mine flickers at idle also....I've tried 2 different ground locations and it didn't help. It's annoying, because I have to keep the damn cover on the light all the time. Should have bought the Autometer one I guess. Proform

You didn't just loop the wire around one of the fuses did you?
