I just bought one of those Auto Meter Shift lights (No Tach cuz i have one already). I was talking to the car shop guy and he was talking about looking for the blue wire. WTF?! Do you guys have any links to sites or maybe detail it out for me? I have a 01 Prelude SH. If not imma just have the shop install it. Thanks in advance to all the Honda-Tech.com folks out there.

 

should be a blue wire going to ur gauge cluster...if not, there is a blue wire coming off the distributor...at least thats how it is on my 4th gen accord. should be the same tho. good luck

black is ground
blue is on dist. or driverside harness on the tower
