Default Shift kit or Torque converter??

After what seemed like endless searching i finally found a shift kit for my auto accord. Its pretty damn pricey and the same company also offers a torque converter for much cheaper.Im hoping to build up the car enough to hold a 100-150 shot of nitrous.Which would be better for my application the converter or shift kit? Also has anyone heard of the company Level 10?Just wondering how good thier products really are.Thanx in advance.

what is the TQ converters stall speed. what are the parts in the shift kit, you can usually make your own shift kit, by just changing a few things. what are the prices for each item?

Shift kit won't do too much for you. For the converter, get one that matches up with the RPM you start making power at if possible.

level 10 has an excellent rep, there are alot of imports with autos running their stuff.

Level 10 is an excellent company.

They are who I am using for my tranny.

As far as stall speed, you get it set at what you want. they do not have a set stall speed.

If you want to buld you tranny to hold a big shot of nitrous, neither of those by them selves will do it. What you will need is stronger clutch paks. Level 10 offers this also. I seriously recommend doing the whole tranny upgrade.

Yep, brought this thread alive. I'm dealing with a D15B2 Auto. I plan on towing my 91HB cross country with it, but I'm concerned about the TC.. What can I do to strengthen the tranny?
