Shanky Engine
First of, I'm new here but I have been reading a lot and I think I'm getting around well with the forum.
Anyways, I own a 2002 Civic Ex Manual (d17a2) 47K
I recently bougth this car and it has already been modified by the previous owner. Its droped about two inches w/ Neuspeed lowering springs so I'm having a dilema with potholes and bumps.
This is the reason of my problem. While exiting a parkin lot, I went a little too fast on a bump and the bottom of the car hit, I heard a thump, and imedietly the oil light went on. The car started shaking so I turned off the engine, when I turned the engine back on it was still shaking so I parked and turned off the engine. I looked under the hood and under the car to see if there was oil leaking because I thought I had messed up my oil pan.
Well I saw something leaking and I thought it was oil, I looked at the oil level and it was nearly empty. So I bought some oil added it to the engine and the shaking went away, I still thought the oil was leaking so I drove home, constantly watching the dashboard.
The next day I thought of taking it to the mechanic, because the car is too low I can't get under it. I checked the oil again but it hadn't leaked, there wasn't any oil on the ground, and the car wasn't shaking anymore.
So I went to get an oil changed and check if there was something wrong w/ the oil pan. Everthing seems okay now after the oil change, the oil hasn't leaked anymore, but today I noticed that the engine is shaking a little too much more than usual.
So I'm wondering if anyone might think that I still have a problem or if is normal.

There has to be some sort of problem big or small for you to have no oil with such few miles on the car. Start with the obvious and work to the bigger stuff. loose drain plug or filter then burning oil. Until then stay on top of the oil level. I think you are paying closer attention then you did before. Look on the under carraige for damage. Don't worry unless you notice something again. I once drove for a couple of miles with 0 oil went home filled it up no problem. I had a major leak caused by oil filter gasket bind. I had a trail of oil from my house to my parents ( a couple of miles ) hahahaha. I would have to guess your vibration is normal but, stay on top of it to see if you notice any changes.
