which set up is a better idea.
so heres the deal. i just bought a 99 ex civic and its in need of a b series. so i have a 00 si longblock that is in mint condition, virgin, never been touched with like 40,000 miles.but its paired with an ls tranny
. and i just bought a complete 98 gsr swap last night. the gsr swap was cheap and it smokes at 8200 rpm so i bought it with intentions of just pairing the tranny with my b16. now that its been sitting in my garage i really wanna run a compression test on the gsr and maybe make a poormans type r. problem... i am going to be stuck with a b16 block a gsr head and an ls tranny. cause that sounds like the worst motor ever. is it worth it or should i just run a b16? and how much would you pay for that left over frankenstien. any feedback is good feedback. thanks

Stock for stock, non-Type R PR3 and P72 heads flow about the same. Why would you want to reduce the compression on the B18C1 by swapping a PR3 head onto it? Keep the B18C1 as is.
