i was driving along and my car started to smoke (lt. gray or white). it only smokes when i take my foot of the gas with it in gear and then give it gas again. it also seemed to hesitate a little. so i pulled over and poped the hood, just in case i could see something...and i pulled my spark plug wires out and there was smoke comming out in EVERY plug chamber. my first thought was that i was burning coolant (because of the color of the smoke) maybe because of a leak in the headgasket, but the smoke in the spark plug chamber has me stumped! im going to rip it apart tomorrow and see what kind of damage is done...hopefully not to bad, but im fearing bad news. any help on what this might be would be appreciated. oh, FYI the motor is a boosted 2.0L ls.

 

sorry i'm not sure about your problem. I've never seen that before. But what the hell is in you avatar. It looks really cool.

 

How was the motor CC's up'ed?

If it was bored to 84 mm, make sure the headgasket is good.

Were you over heating at all?
