Default Sensor Problem....need help?

my b16 bogs out only at WOT, the only thing i've found is the TP sensor is reading voltage backwards 4.5v (closed throttle) - .5v (WOT)...does anyone know what the problem might be?? or do i just need a new sensor?? I've some searchs and haven't found much on this.

It is wired correctly i have checked with the helms manual but its reading the throttle specs backwards even though its wired right.

Plus if i reverse the power and ground to the sensor it doesn't bog out at WOT, but bogs out around 1500 rpms but you can rev through the bog.

could it just be a bad sensor???

if its not the sensor then maybe you fuel pump is having a hard time feeding the extra gas at WOT

if you can get a free tps sensor to try it, definatley do

the TPS does control the fuel comming into the engine, so it would bog if its in a situation like yours.

The only way a TPS can read backwards is if it's wired wrong or you are measuring wrong. It's got a supply voltage, a ground, and a 'wiper' in between. The 'wiper' is what moves with the throttle. Based on your description, the TPS itself would seem to be OK.
