safe way to disable vtec?

im letting a friend use my car for a day.. is there a safe way to disable vtec (unplugging the vtec wire) ?

you know how people get with vtec engines when they dont own one

Whats the purpose of disabling vtec? That doesn't stop him from revving the **** out of the engine.

Maybe you shouldn't be loaning your car to this person.

Just tell him he is fully responsible for the car as you are fully responsible for his truck.

What he breaks, he pays to fix and vis versa..

you can unplug the vtec pressure switch.... but like the other dude said, he can still rev the motor up till redline.

safest way is to give him some money for the bus, lol jk u can unplug it like they said, well if you dont want your friend smashing, find an ecu that has a low red line
