Safe to Start Car With No Tranny Fluid?

Just got my car back together an only have half a quart of fluid. CAn I start the car in neutral and it be safe?

Start the car with the clutch pedal pressed and don't let off of the clutch pedal. If you're in neutral the input shaft is still spinning.

manual...yes but not for any longer than 10 secs
