can i just go ahead and buy the vafc now and just use the air/fuel part of it and not hook up the vtec. Or would it be better to just get an SAFC now and when I do get a vtec motor buy the VAFC. If I can just buy the VAFC and use the air/fuel part of it now then that would save me $300 in the long run. Let me know soon thanks in advance. Oh I have the 98 civic cx motor in my car right now. Also if I can just use the air/fule part of the VAFC is there anything better about VAFC besides the fact of it haveing a vtec controler compared to the SAFC?

Well it sounds like a no brainer to me, if you are planning on going VTEC later, then just go with the VAFC now instead of the SAFC, you can thereby adjust the air/fuel mixture now and then the VTEC points then, hope this helps

can the SAFC do the same thing as a VAFC except for the part about controling VTEC. Like is the SAFC's sir/fuel options better then the VAFC's air/fuel options.
