S2 intake manifold and CTR cam
Are the CTR cams aggressive enough to require this piece in a GSR? Or will a ported and polished version of the OEM unit be enough?

Well the ITR cams are agrresive enough to require the ITR mani. Thats why the ITR comes with the ITR mani aka (skunk2). So that said, arent the CTR cams more aggressive than the ITR cams?? If that staement is true then yes.
For optimum performance, (provided that you have the other typical bolt-ons), yes, you'll want the Skunk2, & you'll want it matched to at least an ITR TB, if not something a bit bigger - depending on your future goals for the car.
But, on the other hand, I have the CTR intake cam & I'm still running the stock GSR IM & TB. The only thing that I did to it was remove the IAB valve body. Stock IM getting me 14.1's - faster if I could learn how to launch.
