in my opinion I'm bettin it will physically fit the compartment, prolly need new mounts, and misc wiring/ ecu swap...

The 20B is several inches longer, and will likely require custom mounts. Aside from the necessary fiddling that comes from putting a 3-rotor in a 2-rotor's home, it should be workable. More than that I don't know, I've been rotor-less for 4 years now and haven't kept up

a 93 RX-7 engine is the 13B-REW (two rotor, 1.3l, twin turbo), not the 20B. The 20B (three rotor, 2.0l) came only in japan, and only in the Mazda Cosmo. Never in an RX-7.
But to answer your question, yes, the 20b can fit, but you'll need to do quite a bit of custom work, new steering rack, etc. Look to Mariah Motorsports for the conversion.
The 13B-REW will be a lot easier to get in there. Ask around on http://www.rx7club.com/forum/ in the gen specific forum.
