Default Running an engine on a test stand.....Engine builders help!

Hey guys have a question. I am wanting to take a 4cyl (mid 90's) civic engine and run it on an engine test stand for demonstration purposes (it's part of a school project). I have seen big block engines ran on stands, but what I don't understand is what to do with all of the electronics and vacuum lines associated with a Honda engine. Can anyone offer some advice? Is there a better (easier) Honda engine to run instead? Thanks guys!

Use a carburated, points distributor, engine. Other than that you will need the harness out of the car to run an ECU, FI engine.

most of the vacuum ports can be capped, just make sure to connect the FPR and the MAP sensor(if it is external), you can also cap the coolant lines that would normally go to the heater core, and then ad a rad and hoses, and the wiring harness and ecu, and you should be good to go.

Ok thanks! Might sound stupid, but how is the fuel delivered? I know most test stands come with a spot for gas, but what about the fuel pump? Thanks again

well since It is a fuel injected system you would need some kind of tank and fuel pump. maybe a small one from summit or something, you might need to run an external pump on a setup like this. I dont know what would be the best since you are running a mostly stock engine i would assume so an external areomotive or boshe might be a bit overkill.
