so i finally get my freshly built b20 started. it didnt sound quit clean when i started up, and i didnt think it was running right. well my paps pulled off the plug wire to the driver side piston (#4?), and the car didnt miss a beat, i figured something was up. so i checked the plugs - and i am getting spark.

so i figured it was the used 450s i had in there. well i swapped 2 of the injectors, and it still was not firing on #4. so i rewired my wiring job that i had to splice into the stock harness - got nothing. so i figured maybe it was one of the resistors in the resistor pack that blew, so i got another one, wired it in, and still only firing on 3 cylinders. this is the bad part then.

i have no idea what could be causeing this. it has a flaw somwere past the resistor pack. has anyone ever had this happen to you??? thanks for your time guys

 

i checked the resistance on the wire coming from the harness to the injector clip. i am basically getting nothing out of it. soi start the car and i go to the harness and i am getting about 1-2mV on that injector, and about 6-8mV on the other injectors???

 

Is the ecu known to be good? Try another and see what happens.

 

yes. I believe the ecu is working correctly. I wired in the 450s with the resistor pack, so i am sure i just dont have a good enough connection somewhere down the line. guess im going huntin...

 

can you hear any pulse in your last injector?
