Default rpms too high for h22??

i have a jdm h22a obd1. in third gear doing 80 my rpms shoot to 6500(running a p28 with a jdmshit chip). with a jdm p13(virgin), third gear doing 80 my rpms shoot to 6700 and fuel cut off is at 6900!! and i know that the p13 is in good working condition cuz my hommie uses it on his jdm h22a....can someone help!!??

my friend has a jdm 95 h22 also and he takes his to 8000 on a chiped uberdata tuned p28

your P13 should rev to 7800K. I have a JDM h22. 7800K rev limit. We tuned another H22 though and set the limit to 8K. They may not rev like the B series but 8 should be fine.

im throwing a code 14. does this mean that im in limp mode and that's why it didnt let me rev past 6900 in 3rd??

14 is iacv and should not be cutting revs at 6900..safty cut is 6500 and your tach might be off..

re check the codes and get back to us...

that is not possible. no matter what ecu u use, your rpm/mph ratio will not change.

only way thet could happen is a slipping clutch, but it should slit all the time. unless that chip losses so much power it cant slip the clutch, lol

that chip blows get something worth the time for your motor, get uberdtata/crome/hondata if u wanna save money on ecu work, and be safe
