In my new engine, I'm thinking of running Royal Purple brand products (oil, coolant). Anyone have any experience or recommendations?

 

Teken, you found it that much more expensive? It's roughly the same price as other synthetics, or so I've found... I've used Mobil 1, Castrol Syntec, and Royal Purple and it seems that the Purple has given me the smoothest running right off the bat. Although... it IS annoying that you can't buy it in 4L containers It sucks walking out of a store with 5 little containers under your arm

 

that **** is expensive down here in the US. It is a lot cheaper up in BC.

 

I could never justify the cost of RP, because it isn't a full synthetic. Its a synthetic blend, yet costs the same as most synthetics.

I have never used it, but it sounds too infomertial for my tastes I stick to redline or amsoil.

 

hit up the 12 page oil thread in the ITR forum....alot of very knowledgeable people have spent much time to help everyone out with thieese issues
