Default Ross Piston Question!!

Well ive decided to go with ross pistons is this a wise choice??Cause it comes with rings and everything included. Im goin to be running a b18c1 with drag gen 3 turbo, can u tell me the compression and which would be better for me to get in the chart???

Is that a good deal how much overbore is it .20???

The compression ratio you get mainly depends on the dish, stroke, domed, bored in, or flat, as well as rod length and stroke as well on the bottom end.

You will need to get the specs of the rods, and all the specs of the pistons, to determine the CR.

But for compression, and drag gen 3 turbo set up, I would be in the 8.5:1 ball park area. With a built bottom end, you could run about 25 PSI provided it is tuned and race fuel.

As for being .20 overbore. Usually when you have a block sleeved, and re-honed, there is usually .20" shaved off inside the cylinders, making the piston more fit.
