Default Rods modified for type r pistons?

I had a ls vtec built last year with ls rods and itr pistons. I want to know if the rods that where modified to accept itr pistons can be used with p30's now. Any advise would be appreciated.

yes they can! the rods were narrowed on the small end. b16 and ls require that for any "R" piston. the P30's can be put on no problem, with or without the previous modification.
