Default Which Rods to get..?

Reality struck me...and i dont think im gonna get the original Crower rods that i planed...So im thinking of getting the Crower Econ line...what do you guys think..? i have a feeling that you guys will say Eagle..but those are made in China too -and they look EXACTLY the same as the Crower Econ so im thinking that they order from the same maker. theres only a $50 difference and id rather have the Crower name...

CROWER ECON or EAGLE? or Original CROWER? Something else?

check around the tech threads...do a search...but just a couple of weeks ago people were claiming that Crower had a lot of blame for several blown engines. peeps were saying Crower was crap. i have never used Crower myself, but just wanted to give you a heads up to go check out that thread.

Eagle cannot smote them for the price and durability.

Using the Crowers in my motor now, they have about 10,000 hard miles on them (can you say 9,500 rpm) with no problems. I am building another motor and I am using the Eagle rods, just picked them up today in fact. For less than 300 hp, Eagle are fine. Told by Ted at Golden Eagle that the Crowers are good to 400 hp. Unless you are building a monster motor, either will be fine.
