Default rod bolt torque and stretch info.

This weekend i assembled my h22a block with eagle rods.Of course, they come with arp bolts and the handy dandy arp moly grease.I used a rod bolt stretch gage and a torque wrench.I torqued the bolts to 18 ft/lbs to start and checked the stretch on them, and i come to find out, some bolts will stretch a little more than others.i stepped up the range at least 2-3ft/lbs on some bolts and a couple of them i had step up the range by 7-10 flt/lbs to get the .005 stretch arp recommends. And i come to think,if i didnt use the rod bolt stretch gage and torque them all to 28ft.lbs like it was recommended if the rod bolt stretch method wasnt used,i could have had some bolts over stretched!! Just to let everyone know,a rod bolt stretch is very usefull and good investment.OF course, with a rod bolt stretch gage, your supposed to use a box wrench, but with the gage i had, there wasnt much room to use a box wrench.
