Default rockers locking vtec ??

is there any way i can check to see if my rocker arm "pins" are locking into vtec ? right now i have no vtec and so far this is like the only thing i have not checke4d. and i dont know how to go about checking to see if it is working properly.. i am not dumb but i have never done this and i dont have any kinda guide to look to nor do i know what exactly to look for.
so the questions are
how do i check to make sure the rockers are locking into vtec.??
does any one have instructions on how to do thios ..
or how to pull everything apart and what to look for once it is alll apart.

you will have to remove the VTEC solenoid and hope to have a compressor with allot of PSI to blow air in to the head to substitute for oil pressure . This is also done with the valve cover of and it gets messy. You should see the rockers lock in to place
