Default rocker arm assembly

I have a 96 accord ex 2.2 vtec. I just replaced the LMAs but didnt have a torque wrench when putting the rocker arm assembly back on to the motor so i just guesstimated it. When readjusting the valves they were all really tight; meaning I tightened the rocker arm assembly tighter than it was before. I just readjusted the valves to the correct measurements and it runs great but the idle dropped way low. I just raised up the idle to the correct specs with the screw. Everything is fine but I have always heard not to mess with the factory idle setting. My question is will tightening the rocker arm assembly too tight effect anything negatively?

Over-torquing or under-torquing will have a negative effect, how much of an effect will depend on how much over/under you are. 94

Its not by much. I only had to loosen the valves ever so slightly. What negative effect will it have? Possibly damaging lobes?
