Rivet Gun
How do you use a pop rivot gun, I wanna pop rivot a new piece of metal into my beater as a few people have told me to do and my dad just dropped off a gun and some rivets. Just dont get how it works...
NVM- didnt see the drill bit, I guess I have to drill into the new metal and then the rivet head follows it into the hole I made and bends so it wont come out... right?

Re: Rivet Gun (RiceRacist)
the rivet is two pieces. The long shaft, with a ball on the end, and the sleeve, which is the part you see, when it's riveted.
What the rivet gun does, is holds the sleeve where you want it to hold, then grabs onto the shaft, and then trys to pull the ball end back THROUGH the sleeve. That makes the sleeve bulge out, and that's what holds it on. Then it snaps th rest of the shaft off, so that it's not sticking out.
