Describe it better than "ring lock key thingy"
There's never been anything put between the tranny and the block when I've done honda transmissions other than the dowel pins to guide it on and the clutch cover.

alright- im a complete idiot. its a special tool to keep the flywheel from moving when installing the clutch. i was just lookin through the helms at like 4 am the other day and saw it and got nervous cause i didnt have one. so, sorry, nevermind
