Default Ring gapping...again :P

Well guys, I'm hoping to finish this once and for all. I have a B16 w/LS pistons. I bought Hastings rings. My question is, can I reuse them? I didn't really USE them, only drove the car for 10 minutes. Can I take the pistons out, gap the rings, then reinstall? Also, anybody know what I should gap them to for my setup? I'll be running 6-8lbs of boost.

I know, I should have done it the first time!

Thanks,

Goldfingiz

why did you buy those rings? should have gotten some weisco piston rings or something like that.........

i would probably buy new rings........you might run into trouble re-using those rings even if they are used in the same cylinder........

My machine shop ordered them for me. Why should I have "gotten some weisco (Wiseco) piston rings or something like that........."

Just wondering.

Thanks,

Is it true that OEM rings don't need to be gapped?

Thanks,
