Default RHD transmission

ive tried searching, even looked on howstuffworks.com, **** didnt work

im planning on buying a RHD car/do the conversion.
im curious as to how the hell you shift gears on it. do you shift into first as you would regularly shift into 5th? are they all backwards? or do you shift regular, (from the right) moving the stick to the left and up to get in first...?

thanks and sorry about the nooby stupid question

RHD tranny = LHD tranny

Nothing is different. Sit in your passenger seat and put your left hand on the shifter. Thats how its gonna be.
