Default reving to 9K

well i hope this is the right forum. i was wondering if i wanted to Rev my GSR to 9K with other mods like valvetrain, cams, and pistons. i was wondering if i should balance my GSR rods and crank or should i get ITR rods and then balance my GSR Crank and ITR rods to take 10K. would it be better to use GSR RODS or ITR Rods????? thanks for all of your help guys

it all depends on your valve train. you could rev up to 12000, but why? you wont be making power that high. most cams only make power up to about 8500 or so so there would be no need to rev up that high.

read this.

it's not exactly what you are asking, but it gives you good information for building a motor like you're thinking.

as said above, more revs does NOT equal more power all the time. you need to plan your motor...
