reversing engine rotation?
think about what you said a little bit more. just cause its rotating the opposite way does'nt change the fact that the flywheel and clutch set up is still on the left and the belt is on the right
That's the whole point of reversing the rotation. Transverse engines typically rotate the same direction as the wheels. Off the shelf motorsport transaxles are going to be designed for a clockwise spinning, RH mounted engines. It's more effective and efficient, $$$-wise, to modify an engine than to spec a completely custom gearbox. It's more efficient in 2020, $$$-wise and power-wise, to just put a mild K build in the thing. Would be sweet to have a super low slung dry-sumped K (or B) in the front of a vintage EG/EK Civic or DC Integra though. Sign me up.
