rev limiter???

rev limiter???

I've got a crx with a b16 in it but my rev limiter always kicks on at 6900 rpm.I do have ecu codes and i have fixed them, anything out there that i have missed???

Make sure your speedo cable is in all the way. When I put in a new tranny....my speedo cable wasn't in all the way, and my car did the same thing. Except I threw a cel - I think it was vehicle sensor unit - or something. As soon as I pushed the cable in a little further, voila, back to normal.
