Default reusing rod bolts

hope this is in the right forum.

just wondering if it is a must to replace type r rod bolts when installing new pistons. i know that headstuds are a must, but someone was telling me that the type r rodbolts need to be replaced as well. can anyone verify this for me? my guess is that since ur in there you might as well get new ones and not risk anything..

I would get new ones. The only way to test the used bolts would be to measure them on a stretch gauge and see if they are within Honda's tolerances. Too much work for stock bolts if you ask me.
