What are your thoughts on reusing an ACT hdss pressure plate with about 45k miles on it. I have gotten a new exedy disk for free and money is tight right now. If i resurface my flywheel and put in new bearings. Do you forsee me having any problems with reusing the Pressure Plate?????

 

I don't see why you couldn't reuse it. if it works fine now, thenit should still work fine with a new disc.

 

I guess the only thing is that the clutch is slipping some now. Not bad or anything just wont chirp gears.

 

Any other thoughts on this?

 

i wouldnt use the exedy disc.

 

Well, like I said it was free and right now im broke. I have to use what I can for now. I just need to know will it hold a little better than what Im dealing with. At least for a while till I get an all new clutch.

 

free doesnt matter when it will come apart not to long from now does it?
hope you dont pay for transmission labor.
