Default Retainer question.

I was just looking at a groupbuy for Crower springs and retainers and it was stated that if the application is for a 1st gen JDM B16 then H22 retainers must be used. What's that all about?

The 87093D(H22) retainers have a +.06" Installed Height. Crower agrees with this, the retailer is correct.

Does Crower mention this upon ordering or is this the sort of thing that if you don't know it already then your screwed. Whats the dif. between B16's that only the 1st gen needs the H22 retainers.

I think the info is right on Crower's site, but don't take my word for it, been awhile since I've spent allot of time there struggling with decisions. Call or e-mail Crower they have some great guys that work there. Really builds your confidence in a company's schtuff when you get a wiz on the phone that gives you concise snappy answers to tough technical questions. I gave them when I called them with some technical concerns.
