Air Temp Reading 14 degrees
no it was on the dyno we went through the connection and the wires were all connected, what ground would make it go bad, also i have never heard of a sensor goin bad, anyone else have any ideas

If you have access to a mutli-meter you could do a simple test. The IAT & ECT share the same resistance/temp characteristics. On a cold motor [in the morning time works well] unplug the IAT & ECT sensor connectors. Then measure the resistance of both sensors.....they should be nearly the same.
But as far as IAT [and ECT for that matter] resistances for varying temps, use these values:
Temp: Ohm
32: 5000
68: 3000
104: 1000
If your sensor checks OK, look to your wiring.
