Resonator question
I've heard that some glasspacks can be used as resonators, at least the flowmaster hushpower IIs. I was wondering if i can use a regular glasspack as one? It doesn't make sense to me, but if it works, i'll try it.

Re: Resonator question (makoto)
well they all pretty much do the same thing. As long as they're straight through and dont prevent exhaust flow. Its just a smaller muffler that reduce the high frequency sound. I think thats the purpose of the hush powers as well.

aluminzed resonators are dirt cheap though. Wouldnt you be better of kjust buying one of them and being sure? either way your proabbly okay though.

Re: Resonator question (b18LS)
Yeah, my friend put a resonator on his car, and it helped alot. It was the vibrant one, and it was only 12''. I was thinking about getting the 31'' thrush glasspack. It's pretty straight through. I just don't want to attract the cops what so ever.
