Default Resistors for injectors?......

I need to wire in resistors for my injectors. I have precision 95lb/hr injectors (yes, domestic ones) injector clips from a 97 dodge neon and I will be running AEM EMS. I have an injector box but I have to wire up the clips anyway so I wanted to just wire in the needed resistors at the injector clip since i'll be wiring them up anyway. Does anyone know what resistors I need to do this?

You're probably better off using the resistor box. As you can see, it's even got a heat sink, as there can be quite a bit of current running through the resistors, and they have to be of pretty heavy wattage. They're around 8-10 ohms, I believe, but I'm not sure of the wattage rating on them.

10 watt sand resistors will work 10 ohm if i am not mistaken, but if you have the ems just get there injector driver i have hearn nothing but praise about that piece

I could use the resistor box, if it is going to be a pain to make it work with wiring resistors into the clips.

Too bad the AEM isn't set up to use either style injector I might have to just wire up the box. The AEM injector driver probably does nothing more than the factory style resistor box except empty my pockets more. Thats getting hard to do, cuz there isn't much left

How can I test to make sure I hook up the resistor box correctly? Test for what at the injectors clips?

The AEM injector DRIVER unit, is exactly that. It is not just resistors, it actually converts the saturated driver signal from your ecu to a peak and hold signal. There is a big difference. If you can, get the Injector driver unit.

What does the factory style resistor box do? I would like to get the aem box but the **** isn't cheap. Factory box is just resistors? AEM injector driver converts signal right?

Still wondering how the aem injector driver ($250) differs from the factory style injector resistor box ($10) and how running the aem over factory style would make it work the additional $240.
