on one of the internet sites some guy offered air bag module resetting for only $60. the price is way better than buying a new one, but is this even possible. as far as i know they are a one time use. Any info or experiencewould be great

The air bag it's self is not rebuildable!!

The reason is that it's a chemical reaction that causes the expansion. The result is toxic and has to be handled as such.

Although I guess it would be possible to remove all the spent chemicals, fit a new igniter, and fold the bag back up, I doubt it could be done for less than what the initial manufacturing cost is.

i know thw airbags are rebuildable. im talking about the module that activates them

 

i would be interested to know this aswell, but i am sure somone is not just gonna spoil us with all that good information anyways
