Default replacing a bent connecting rod

LS piston has a bent rod on it. how much is a new rod and what kinda places can install them on pistons? also, im not sure if those pistons are from the block, but i do know that they are all from the same block. so would i need to get them balanced after i get that one rod fixed?

If you want to get just one new rod go to Acura. If i were you i would just go with a whole new set of Eagle rods which are fairly inexpensive $300-350. Go to an automotive machine shop to have the pistons pressed on the rods. Also the last and most inexpensive thing to do is, find a nice flat surface, lay ur bent rod down on it and hit it with a hammer. If that doesn't work then just run it over with another car.........j/k. Hope this helps!

lol, i dont think i wanna try to actually fix the bent rod

i was thinking about getting eagle rods, especially because i can get them from someone on the board for prolly about $200 new. i am currently talking to someone who will sell me a set of 4 used, but non-damaged pistons with rods. do you know how much would acura charge for replacing one rod?

may as well get aftermarket rods since you got it apart.

Aftermarket rods don't work with factory pistons.

they will work, however you have to modify the piston because the aftermarket
rod is designed to be full floating. meaning the wrist pin isnt pressed into the
rod as max suggested.
