Default Replacering B16A with B18C head

Could someone help me out with which parts need to be changed or modified to make the GSR head work. I'm thinking about if with the stock B16A sensors, cables etc. works or need be altered. I know I need a GSR IM but that will be changed either way soon to a Skunk2. It should be done on my CRX EE8 (euro SiR) do it's OBD0.

Thanks

why are you changing out the head?
if i remember correctly the b16 head has better flow then the gsr and the b16 shares the mold with the c5 type r head?

I'm getting a good deal on a complete head package. The GSR head will be P&P and raise compression around 0.2:1
If you see at this test the GSR beats the B16a head and Jeff at IB always prefers the GSR over the B16A. http://www.importreview.com/re....html

well, you'll need: different intake, gsr throttle cable, p72 ecu, wire the secondaries, and all the gaskets that you wanna change. think thats all

Might as well buy a thin head gasket why you're at it!

Have fun with the poor man type R, er, wait wouldn't a poor man type R be b18c1 block and b16 head? I forget...

Thanks for info. Why do I need a different intake? Is the TB located in a different position then with a B16A head? I'm assuming the GSR throttle cable is just longer right? I'm running Hondata so I don't need the P72 ECU. If I use a Skunk2 intake manifold then I would not have to wire the secondaries would I?

The GSR head has a different intake bolt pattern compared to the B16. So you'll have to purchase a new intake manifold.
