Default Replaced Cat

00 civic with gsr swap+ magnaflow cat

Hello, just installed my new cat, and now I am throwing P0141 code for the secondary o2 sensor. In return I went out and bought a new o2 sensor, and it is still throwing the same code. (Thought it was a faulty o2 sensor, so went in to get another exchange still throwing same code- used Bosch)

My question is what can I check for now, after replace the o2 sensor twice.

I have also checked fuse 15 btw.

Don't use bosch...either buy a denso or ntk/ngk. I prefer denso.

Are they heated 02 sensors?

If so check for power, [12V+] to the sensor, should be a yellow/black, supplied by the fuel injector relay in the PGM-FI Main Relay, ground, [should be orange/black] is supplied by the ECU.

What year is the GS-R engine from and what harness are you using?

I have checked for power coming from the plug and it is good. Gsr is a 99 using obd2b harness from the civic.

I have been doing research for the past hour and people have been saying that the Bosch o2 sensors create many problems on Japanese cars. I have also talked to a shop about this, and they said to just switch it out for a Denso. Than again I can't return the bosch o2 sensor as I already used it(spent 140 on it)

The only job of the rear oxygen sensor is to see a change from the front oxygen sensor. I would say maybe you got an exhaust leak(most likely, time for a seafoam into the brake booster while looking for smoke leaking out of the exhaust) or somehow you bought the wrong one or the front oxygen sensor is bad. I suppose you could have a crap cat but that's the least likely.
