removing an upper radiator support at junk yard
I need to get the upper radiator support from a car at the junk yard. Have no battery powered sawzall or angle grinder.... what do u guys recommend I try? Think some bolt cutters will get it off so I can get it home and use the grinder here?
yeah i didnt think bolt cutters would work. i went the hard route and used my heavy duty chisle and chisled all the welds. i wish my craigslist had decent tools. Im in panama city beach, fl. craigslist sux out here.
Might be a little late for you but it could help someone else in your position. I changed the radiator support on my 00 galant with nothing more than a cordless drill (19.2v li-ion) with a 1/8" bit & a spot weld cutter from hf. Judging from my 97 accord, the upper support looks a lot easier than the full support on the mitsu
