Default removing only PS belt hazards???

what happens if i were to remove the power steering belt and leave all of its components the way it is.??? will this have any effect on the steering rack?

i know the car will be tougher to turn at a stop, but i was curious if removing the belt would be bad... like long term effects??

any help?

Bearings? It is not going to be spinning. How are the bearings gonna go bad?

Nothing is going to happen.
