So i ripped my motor down to lack of oil pressure and while its apart im just going to throw in new bearings. However, the main cap on the end (against the rear main seal) isnt able to clear the rear main seal to be removed. I swore you could do this?!?!? Any suggestions? I am about to get a dremmel and dremmel some of the base where the oil pan seals to the rear main seal thingie so the cap can come off.

why dont you just remove the rear cover?
