Default Removing the hub from the steering knuckle

Ok i have a thread up for my story..

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=782660

...but here is the thing now, i dont know how to get this damn hub off. I will post a pic shortly. I have the complete steering knuckle off and in my hand. I need to remove these damn studs to put the new ones in and i dont see how the hub is removed. Does it just pull off? Do i need a slide hammer or something? Or should i just take it to the tire shop and have them finish the job. But if i do the latter i still dont have my car until tomorrow since it is already 5 o'clock and they are closed. Someone help! Can it even BE removed or do i need a whole new steering knuckle. Its a GSR BTW.

i had the same question when i was doing my brake setup as i was wanting to replace the short studs with extended ones.

i would HIGHLY suggest that you replace the bearing once you remove the hub, as it is not good to put all the stress on the bearing when takeing off the hub.

my friend took his to a shop to have new bearing pressed in and he just threw the studs in then.

but i would like to know this as wheel cause i want to put my new ext studs on

You use a slide hammer. Although, it is much easier to do with the knuckle on the car. It is a little tricky to press out a hub, much easier to use a slide hammer.

Mighty Mouse is right. You should use a slide hammer to remove the hub. Put the knuckle back in the car first, but only conect the upper and lower ball joints, nothing else. Slide hammer it out. Then press it back in once you have replaced your studs.
