Default removing crank bolt - auto tranny

I don't have a compressor so I have always just removed the starter and held the flywheel in place so that I can break the crank bolt loose (on my manual tranny). I just got an auto integra that I am replacing the headgasket on. Can I do the same thing with it? Should I put it in park and hold the flywheel? I have never worked with an automatic transmission so any help/tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is it still driveable? If it is take it to a tire shop to have them break it loose for you. Or invest into getting a crank pulley holder. Works the best.

Crank pulley holder is the best so you wont damage anything while trying to break the bolt loose.
