Removing Charcoal Box/Evap
Sup,
So im in the process of an engine swap. i removed my charcoal box/evap. Someone told me that it wont run without it, which is i think is wrong. Soemoen said it wont run right at all. Anotehr said it will run fine jnust a CEL. Some say it wont do anything
i want to get it out ht eway in order to make more room for my cathcan.....
Im going to use a sock/ or soemting over the gas line to allow it to breathe and prevent debris from entering in....
who took thiers out? how does it run? Im running obd1 hondata s2000 p28

If you disconnect the EVAP system, you shouldn't throw a CEL since you have a Hondata...
And yes it will run fine. I have my gas vapor line just venting open.

I just took mine out too... you can use the longest hose and connect it from the fuel evap line and just let it evap out the bottom of the engine bay somewhere.
Runs good. Engine bay's cleaner too.
