Here is my problem. I am trying to take my bypass valve off of my GSR. We get almost no rain here. The owner before me put it in. I am not sure if the CAI is the 1 peice or 2 piece design. If it is the 2 piece do you just take the bypass out? Any way to put together a 1 piece again?

The reason why I want to do this is because the bypass valve muffles the sound a TON compared to my friends with CAI on any other car.

Ya I am going to buy a 3" tube(or whatever size it is) and put it over the hole. Will this bring back the scream taht it used to have?

 

mine had the noise even with the bypass.

 

well mine screams, but only when i'm about 4k plus, and pushing it hard. Other people I know that have the CAI are much louder I think. Maybe i'm just stupid
