Default remote starter installed, now need neutral switch.

i have m/t with clifford remote starter.....it is working; although everytime i start...im worry if the car in gear and it move forward.

i need some ideas how to solve this problem.

Thats why they tell you not to put a remote start on a manual. I have one on my but since I have driven a manuel I never put it in gear unless I am on a steep hill. You could just put a switch inbetween the power on the remote start that when you put the car in gear, flip the switch and disable the remote start.

You could just try remembering not to leave it in gear ?!?

Some remote start systems are wired so that the parking brake has to be set, the clutch engaged (neutral), while the engine is running. Then when you turn off the ignition, the system is set for a remote start.
