Hey guys,
trying to see if anyone knows how hard it would be to register, inspect, and smog a car in CA. Basically, I found a car in Toronto Canada that I like, but it might be a huge pain to get the car into the states and then on top of that into CA...Its basically just an 02 wrx wagon with a full Sti swap, so emissions should be fine, but I dont know about customs and the State of California...any help would be appreciated, I just moved to LA about 3 weeks ago...

Registration will be PRICEY. All vehicles emissions are not created equal. There is 49 state emissions and then there is California emissions. Yes they have there own standards that OEM must adhere to. So your car must be Cali emissions compliant, for starters...
