Default rebuilt dizzy...tdc code 8 now

I just rebuilt my obd0 b16 distributor, with new shaft bearing, cap, and rotor. Everything is exactly as before except im throwin code 8 sometimes now. Does this mean i need to replace the sensor or what? It runs good and strong still so i dont think its my timing. TIA

well honda is a great company for there wide range of use of the ac pulse type sensor. This sensor generates volatage off of the principle of mutual induction there is a chnace you have either damaged this sensor or it is just plain bad, my question is how some you didnt just buy a new distributor

well for 1 i dont know what or where that sensor is your talking about, and i rebuilt my dizzy for 40 dollars, thats alot cheaper than a new one that will have an old bearing in it that will go bad in probably the same amount of time mine did.

anyone? I'd like to get his car running right. It's been problem after problem for over 6 months. I'd really like to see this car actually run right for once.
Up up and away for stephen

it should be a lil black box on the side of your distributor, it should be horizontal to a 4 pointed pin wheel
