Default Rebuilding a hydrolocked engine?

Hey guys, my friend hydrolocked his Integra GS.... I was wondering what process I would take to get it running again? Like would I need to replace all the internals? ECU? I just want to find out if its gonna be way too much trouble to rebuild it then to buy another engine!

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Kaleo

Can't really rely on me. But im pretty sure your going to need to pretty much replace the bottom end. I don't think you need to replace the Crank, But pretty sure about, sleeves, Rods, Pistons, Bearings, Rings, So on and so forth.

well in you hydrolocked your motor, Most likely your bottem end is screwed. Just depends how fast you shut the motor off when you hydro locked it. Chances are you bent a rod or two whinch also will throw off the ballance of the crank. I you are going to rebuild i would just start from scratch. New rods, bearings, hone, piston rings, and if you have the money i would look at upgrading the pistons.
